Letters of Recommendation

April 3, 2019
To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Kristina Wyatt whom I have known for almost four years now. She is one of most exceptional students I have encountered in my 10 years at Baker College. She is not only the most committed student I have ever had, but she is also the most upbeat student. She is driven to understand how things work and spends countless hours teaching herself new concepts and strategies. She has always received excellent grades in all of my courses due to her dedication and hard work. She has always impressed me with her originality and enthusiasm in everything she does. She is clearly one of the best future teachers I have had the honor of knowing.

Kristina’s personal strengths are as remarkable as her intellectual accomplishments. She has an active, outgoing presence in class with a great sense of humor. Kristina’s the perfect person to get a group venture rolling, but she also knows how to sit back and let others take the lead. Her cheerful nature and openness to feedback means she is always learning and growing as a teacher, an impressive strength that will continue to serve her well within the classroom and beyond. Kristina is just the kind of driven, knowledgeable, and hardworking teacher that any district would be lucky to have.

Kristina has my highest recommendation for any teaching position she desires. Her endless curiosity, combined with her willingness to take risks, leads me to believe there will be no limit to her growth and achievements in the field of education. She has a passion for teaching which is very clear to me and I have no doubt she would make a master teacher.

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Alice Ernst. I am a first grade teacher with Perry Public Schools and a member of our Teacher Leadership Team and Curriculum Council. I am also an adjunct faculty member of Baker College of Owosso in the Education Department. Over the past three years, I have had the distinct pleasure of getting to know Kristina Wyatt, a Baker student. I have been her instructor for both an Introduction to Education Experiences course and, most recently, an Instructional Design and Assessment class.

One of Kristina’s most impressive qualities is her knowledge and concern for students with special needs. Throughout many assignments and discussions, her focus on making sure that learning is accessible for all students becomes clear.

In addition, Kristina has a strong background in technology. I am confident in her ability to be innovative when integrating technology within her lesson plans.

Kristina’s written work and assessments display a high level of achievement. She is focused on a future educational career and has worked hard over several years of schooling to reach her goal. Recently, I helped Kristina and a group of students by videotaping a structured discussion centered around a current educational issue. I was extremely impressed with Kristina’s increase in relevant knowledge and quality of insights since her introductory education course. I recommend her for a future teaching experience.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to endorse a lovely, young lady Kristina Wyatt.  I have the greatest privilege of teaching with Kristina at Elsa Meyer Elementary School.  Kristina has many wonderful qualities. Her enthusiasm toward education and working with others is very contagious.  She is always smiling and very willing to try new things. She has the courage to redirect or find better solutions to problems in and out of the classroom.  I always feel that Kristina is very prepared for any new challenge that occurs.

Over the past several months, I have watched Kristina grow as a professional educator.  Her ability to work with students is very genuine and her compassion for their education is truly sincere.  She encourages her students to find strategies that were taught solve their own learning problems. However, if students are struggling with a concept, Kristina’s tender guidance in helping them with a strategy or to offer corrective feedback is done with positive comments.  As students are revisiting learning goals, Kristina encourages her students to expect more of themselves, in order to complete their goals. Kristina is a very devoted person with the willingness to spend hours in perfecting her teaching, being the best student teacher, or simply helping other students.

Kristina’s classroom and lessons are always filled with many qualities that make-up a master teacher.  She incorporates hands-on lessons and she designs lesson plans for differentiated instruction. Her willingness to make adaptations for special needs students is impeccable.  Her classroom is a community of learning. Her students feel very comfortable with high expectations and they feel very comfortable in taking risks. I am always very excited when I get the opportunity to watch her teach.

Lastly, I feel that your district would be very fortunate in hiring Kristina.  She is truly an outstanding person that loves to work with all students and staff members.

Sincerely yours,

Pam Ryan

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is to recommend Kristina Wyatt for a teaching position. I had the pleasure of working with Kristina during the 2018-19 school year. In my twenty-three years working as a public educator, I have rarely seen another teacher with the composure and focus Kristina possesses. I was able to observe Kristina in many situations while she was interacting with students and other staff members.

Kristina always approached students and staff members in a professional and calm manner. She conducted herself with a high level of professionalism and always maintained a genuine demeanor. Kristina worked above and beyond the requirements set forth by her mentor. She consistently gave feedback and insight during grade level meetings, started the school day early, and continued working after the contractual time set for staff members to end their day.

Kristina is a confident and fair leader. I had many conversations with Kristina regarding students’ individual needs. She always had multiple thoughts and ideas about how to best accommodate a student’s ability level. Kristina’s commitment to truly listen and consider the best course of action for all students was obvious during the conversations we shared.

Finally, Kristina’s diligence in learning the components of a new program in our district was impressive. This year our third grade team implemented “Bookworms” for language arts. She shared materials and ideas with grade level team members. Kristina took the time to look ahead and share thoughts regarding upcoming activities for various units. Her preparedness and insight contributed to the success of our entire grade level.

Kristina Wyatt would be an excellent member of any staff. Her work ethic and experience would be an incredible asset to her team. Please feel free to call me with any questions you might have.

To whom it may concern,

I am honored to be able to write this letter of recommendation for Kristina Wyatt. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Wyatt when she entered our building in the fall of 2018, in preparation for her student teaching placement. From the first day, I could tell she was invested in education. She is a natural teacher who offers great ideas and has valuable input.. She exhibits excitement for learning, a passion for teaching and a desire for cultivating relationships with both staff and students, alike.

At Elsa Meyer, we focus on having CAVS behavior. Mrs. Wyatt exhibits these traits by choosing kindness with all students regardless of race, ability or behavior. She accepts responsibility by arriving on time or early and staying late as needed. She always makes sure to value the safety and confidentiality of our students. She shows respect to other staff members and students, as well as parents she encounters on a daily basis..

I would highly recommend Mrs. Wyatt for any position to which she is applying. She is patient, flexible and has great attention to detail. She possesses the traits that any employee must have in order to be successful. She has become a valued member of our third grade team and any school district would be lucky to have her!

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

To Whom It May Concern:

Mrs.  Wyatt has worked at Elsa Meyer Elementary for Corunna Public Schools.  She has worked at the school for the school year 2018-2019. Mrs. Wyatt is a very outgoing person.  She truly loves working with kids. The students love her and respect her.

Mrs.  Wyatt really loves what she does.  I have seen her work in the classroom and she is very passionate about what she does.  Her passion carries over to all subject matter: ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.

Mrs.  Wyatt has developed her own strategies for classroom management and has implemented it.  She holds herself and her students to a very high standard. She demonstrates what is expected from her students by modeling behavior and then the students are expected to demonstrate expected behavior.

To Whom It May Concern:

Please accept this letter of recommendation for Mrs. Kristina Wyatt.  I have had the pleasure of having Mrs. Wyatt in my 3rd grade classroom this winter at Central Elementary in Flushing.  Mrs. Wyatt came into my classroom for a few hours each week to work with my students.

Mrs. Wyatt is always very positive, easy to work with, and she has developed a great rapport with students.  She is self-motivated and not afraid to jump right in to help with student questions, working with students groups, or anything else that was needed in the classroom.  She took the time to get to know my students, paraprofessional and myself.

I am confident that Mrs. Wyatt will be an outstanding contributor to the profession of teaching in any district fortunate enough to have her on their staff.
